About the Founder

The brand SP Textile was established in 1966. The name is chosen to represent the wide ideology of Mr. Harakchand Jain the core-designer, chairman and director of our company. The acronym SP in the brand name stands for Seshmal Phulchand, Father & Uncle of Mr. Harakchand Jain, an Indian Industrialist in the textile world. With his foresight, He took the brand value to new heights. His mantra was “Provide the best quality & creativity at an affordable Value”. He believed in simplistic and minimal designs, which would set trends for a longer period of time.

1960s
Incepted our dream

Incepted our dream by moving to Malegaon, started the business of Nauvari sarees in the local markets of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh

1970s
Business Expansion

Started expanding the business with more family members

1980s
Authenticity

Infused authenticity into designs by commissioning weavers

1990s
Moved to Mumbai

Overcame business hardships and gradually moved to Mumbai markets.

2010
Aura

Established Aura as SP Textworld’s own fashion brand on 22 nd February

2014
Expansion

Expanded to a team of 125 members in the company with more than 200 weavers.

2015
Brand & Events

Created a buzz with Miss India Aditi Arya as the brand ambassador and many noticeable PR events like fashion shows, online studio launch events, etc.

2021
Production & Sales Office

Production Office established in Surat – 2021 : Established Sales office in Millennium Market, Surat

Spreading our sarees across all seven continents by producing sarees and venturing into fusion wear
